Interim Trips that I have ventured out upon.
The first year I was at Yampah I did not go on any interim trips. I really did not care about them. But on the first quarter of my second year I did. It was very dope actually. I went on a trip to the arches just outside of Moab, Utah. It was way fun. We camped, cooked, and just had a gay old time. I then went on my second trip on the second quarter of that year. It was a little bit less fun. We went to a cabin in the dead of winter. There were definetely sections of it that were enjoyable. But for the most part it was cold and i Fucking hate the cold. excuse me for being so blunt about it.
La Puente
La Puente is spanish and I think that its direct translation is the bridge but that doesn't matter. A few years back I volunteered to a homeless shelter in Alamosa that was called La Puente. It was aweek long ordeal where I went and made delicious food for the homeless. I did other stuff to help while I was there but cooking is all I seriously rememeber. I do remember chillin' with all the people who lived there.
